March 11, 2025: International Youth Dialogue with Helga Zepp-LaRouche

International Youth Dialogue with Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche

On Zoom

Tuesday, March 11, 2025, 10am US Eastern / 3pm CET

“This was a game changer moment in history and hopefully a first step towards an all inclusive security and development architecture, which overcomes the disease of geopolitics forever.” That was how Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche, in an interview with Russia’s leading news agency, TASS, characterized the recent Russia-US meetings in Riyadah. If US President Trump and Russian President Putin succeed in ending the seemingly intractable war in Ukraine, which had threatened increasingly to become a nuclear doomsday war–if that breakthrough can be achieved, one can imagine that a new spirit of creative action may quickly spread across the world.

We who seek a just world order must ensure that the wars of depopulation now imposed upon the people of Palestine, Sudan, Lebanon, and many other locations are halted. Has not the bloody age of colonialism long reached its period of extinction? Why should we put up with a world in which 2.2 billion people lack clean drinking water? Haven’t the atrocities inflicted on Palestinians demonstrated that this, too, is a form of mass murder? Each child, wherever and in whichever circumstances they may be born, bears the inalienable right to participate in the necessary progress of the human species. Let this knowledge unite us across continents and cultures.

To animate the great spirit of reason that such a future requires, we should put before the minds of young people a beautiful vision of the next one hundred, or even one thousand years of mankind. How wise do we dare to be? The principles of this future are known to us in the highest ideas of beauty and truth found in the classical periods of each culture. And, it is through those ideas that we can come to know each other. Let us use this knowledge to define our bold hypothesis: that humanity is fundamentally good, and capable of infinite perfectibility. And then, let’s carry it out.

A crucial intervention point will be the continuing mobilization for the LaRouche Oasis Plan, the 50-year “peace through development” policy for Palestine, Israel, and the entire region recently endorsed by H.E. Dr. Naledi Pandor, former Minister of International Relations and Cooperation for the nation of South Africa. Dr. Pandor said the following in conversation with Helga Zepp-LaRouche on February 19th:

“I believe we should have the spirit of Mandela, that freedom is possible; that the Palestinian people will enjoy sovereignty, justice, and freedom. And that the Oasis Plan offers an opportunity for us to think of the world in a different way. So, let us marshal our resources; let’s not seize at this point. Let us be ambitious; let us be optimistic. Because [Nelson] Mandela has shown that things that we imagine impossible are indeed possible.

“We need leadership. We need to find a way, through the Schiller Institute, of identifying who are the adults in the room…. Who is ready to engage in a serious fashion to actually settle matters of the world?… I believe that the Schiller Institute, along with other organizations of similar strength, could begin to assume that leadership role, primarily for purposes of convening, of initiating conversation, and developing an agenda.”

We invite the youth of every nation to join a discussion program with Schiller Institute founder Helga-Zepp LaRouche during which we will develop our common agenda for the harmonious development of mankind. Be the adult in the room! The forum will take place Tuesday, March 11, at 10:00am US Eastern time on Zoom. Register to receive more information.
