Since Helga Zepp-LaRouche founded the Schiller Institute in 1984, we’ve come a long way in our fight for two main objectives:

Creating a global renaissance in classical culture—supporting the creative spirit and potential of all people on this planet, through a dialogue of civilizations that brings forth the best traditions of each culture
- Establishing a just world economic order—ensuring populations are no longer subjected to the horrors of imperialism and geopolitics, by creating a just global economic order premised on the anti-entropic development of all nations
These parallel, but interdependent goals continue the life's work of the Schiller Institute’s namesake, the great German "Poet of Freedom" Friedrich Schiller. In our founding year, the Schiller Institute drafted the "Declaration of the Inalienable Rights of Man," which was endorsed by leading individuals in over fifty nations. The declaration concludes,
"We, therefore, the Representatives of the Peoples of the World, do solemnly declare… that all human beings on this planet have inalienable rights, which guarantee them life, freedom, material conditions worthy of man, and the right to develop fully all potentialities of their intellect and their souls. That therefore a change in the present monetary and economic order is necessary and urgent, to establish justice among the peoples of the world…"
