Young people of the world, unite!
On November 8, 2025, committed citizens and young people from around the world gathered in Paris to
defend their vision of the world to come and their solutions for achieving peace, carrying the voices of
Africa, the countries of the Global Majority, and all other nations, fighting for the true emancipation of
peoples, for peace, solidarity, and progress for all.
Young people from South Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Niger, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya,
Uganda, Nigeria, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, the United States, and all of Europe have thus united their voices to
bring about an international movement demanding a paradigm shift to establish a new architecture of
development and security.
This means replacing financial speculation with a productive economy, war between all nations with
mutual win-win development, and the clash of civilizations with a dialogue of cultures where everyone
shares the best of their history and culture.
While the world faces the risk of a third world war promoted by NATO and the Western military-financial
complex, blood is being shed in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Palestine, and elsewhere. More than a billion people worldwide live on less than $2 a day, without access to education, healthcare, water, or electricity.
It is time to launch a major project to develop the world, as proposed by the Schiller Institute with its
World Land-Bridge project, uniting all continents through development corridors that will enable every
country and every individual on this planet to live in dignity.
- The Transaqua project to save Lake Chad and the millions of displaced people in the region by
revitalizing it with a large canal from the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, thereby developing the
entire Central African region. - The African Union's “Agenda 2063” project, which proposes to connect all African capitals with high-
speed trains. - The Bi-Oceanic Corridor project in Latin America, which will benefit seven of the twelve countries in
South America. - The Bering Strait Tunnel connecting Russia to the United States, which has been discussed
recently and could put an end to tensions between the two countries.
And many other projects.
Young people around the world are demanding this development policy, demanding an end to
neocolonialism, and carrying within them the aspiration for a better world. As the poet Shelley said, “In
such times, we see an accumulation of the power to communicate and receive intense and passionate ideas
about man and nature.”
On December 14, a new international conference bringing together even more young people from around
the world will take place via Zoom, where everyone will be able to contribute to creating the conditions
for this new paradigm. Register to participate.
Young people of the world, let us unite!
